An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual, who is outcome and partnership focused, with a passion for improving community safety and reducing crime and disorder.

We are looking for someone who has proven experience in this field of work and who has a good knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to both community safety and specifically anti-social behaviour. You will lead on the implementation of intervention policies designed to prevent anti-social behaviour and the fear of disorder. You will have primary accountability for all anti-social behaviour case management within the remit of the Community Safety Team. Critical to this role will be your skill in identifying and supporting the most vulnerable in our communities and for improving community confidence, engagement and cohesion.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to effectively plan and organise your workload. Creative problem solving skills will be an integral part of your working practices and the ability to make robust decisions is essential. You will have experience of researching and writing detailed strategic reports and the ability to deliver and evaluate performance against strategic objectives.

You will be committed to meeting the needs of, and improving outcomes for our residents whilst being focused on excellent customer service.
