As our client prepares to open their new flagship Bath Hotel in summer 2017, we’re looking for an experienced standards-driven Restaurant & Bars Manager with passion, drive and enthusiasm.

The position of Restaurant & Bar Manager presents an exciting opportunity to join a new-build property that will be Bath’s largest hotel with 177 guest bedrooms and conference & events space for over 400 people.

The Role
As Restaurant & Bar Manager you’ll be fully responsible for restaurant and bar operations incorporating breakfast, lunch and dinner service, room service and also catering for larger parties. In addition to ensuring the operation delivers on standards and service and achieves its sales targets, the role involves recruiting, leading and developing your team to ensure these objectives are met.

The Person
With a background in a similar environment, the successful candidate for the position of Restaurant & Bar Manager will be charismatic and a natural with guests. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. The ideal candidate will be both hands-on and strategic – the type of person who prides themselves on creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers but who also has the skills and vision to lead and develop their team to deliver consistently great service.

You’ll be a natural leader and will already have a good few years’ experience gained in a similar role in a 4* property. You’ll thrive on balancing strategic planning with thinking on your feet. You’ll also have a proven track record of commercial results with the ability to deliver revenue targets.
