Cramlington based Azure Charitable Enterprises, with income exceeding £7m, is a diverse enterprise combining support services and trading activities in pursuit of its mission “improving the lives of people with disability”.

To further and significantly develop the trading activities, this new post, reporting directly to the Chief Executive, is to be created. The present trading activities are: a retail garden centre, design/printing business, landscapes department (grounds maintenance) and two business centres.

The appointee will bring: sound commercial experience, excellent inter-personal and general management skills. Experience of retail and/or direct marketing, whilst not absolute requirements, are highly desirable.

We seek an individual with: energy, drive, ambition to achieve success (for them and the organisation) together with a strong work ethic and first class communication skills. A high level of numeracy, literacy and relevant IT skills are essential as is a full UK driving licence.
