This is an opportunity to join an award winning UK textile innovator, independently owned, specialising in the design & manufacture of contract upholstery fabrics for commercial interiors and mass passenger transport.
The company is based in West Yorkshire's textile heartland, with additional manufacturing in Lithuania and Nottingham, where it extends global reach into some 80 countries worldwide via established offices, warehousing and distribution channels in Europe, North America, China and Australia.

To support the development & growth of the transport business in the UK by utilising strategic marketing and promotion of the brand. Ensuring the highest standard of customer services is held at all times.

- To support establishing the brand as the leading partner for textile solutions for the transport industry in the region by providing customers & potential customers with samples & marketing-material during customer visits, by post and/or courier etc.
- To help grow sales volumes & expand the range of products in the collections of existing customers. supporting the growth of the UK Market in line with strategic goals.
- To acquire new business with potential partners in the transport industry. Seeking out opportunities & be a point of contact for potential customers for the brand & thus maximise market development opportunities.
- To promote products to the public & private transport operators, design houses, seat manufacturers, rail companies & rail carriage manufacturers.
- Establish strong relationships with the key decision-makers from the ground up
- To deliver Sales budget figures on an annual basis for the region. (Gross Selling Margin (GSM) & Net Selling Margin (NSM))
- Identify major projects for specification & project monitoring to ensure that we are recognised at an early stage of the project and is finally specified

Education / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Educated to University Degree level or equivalent.
- Excellent language skills in English. Any additional language skills would be advantageous.
- Ability to carry out planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and administration for the area of responsibility.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Software packages, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Additional features
- Home-based role so require space to establish a home-office
- Valid passport and full clean driving licence
- Occasional visits to international trade fairs of up to 1 week duration.
