Operations Assistant – Aviation - Main purpose of the role:

To develop and deliver specialised products and services of department, providing and following through on quotations to maximise shipment profitability.   This is a customer focussed role and the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop existing and potential customers, suppliers and agents in order to generate new business opportunities.  

We are looking for an Operations Assistant – Aviation person ideally with a minimum of two years’ experience in Aviation / Aerospace / AOG (or similar) Export airfreight – Import airfreight experience also preferred but not essential.

The successful Operations Assistant – Aviation person will be:

- Enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic with excellent customer service skills

- Have the ability to work independently and be a good team player

- Able to develop effective customer relations, internally and externally

- Ability to develop business with both UK customers and overseas partners
