Cheshire West and Chester Council works hard to get close to its communities to ensure ambitions for its residents, businesses and neighbourhoods help shape the Council’s service planning and delivery. We offer a wide range of services through our regulatory services team, including environmental health, trading standards, licensing, registration and parking services.

We are seeking a results-focused Business Development Officer to cultivate the full range of those regulatory services. You will nurture a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction and income generation and lead on the performance management and reporting of a range of key contracts. Although the role is focused on regulatory services, you will also be responsible for overseeing and assisting with the development and implementation of growth strategies across the whole directorate.

You will have relevant experience in sales or business management and a proven track record of delivering excellent results. What’s for sure is that you’ll also have had previous involvement managing client relationships.
