Are you a passionate experienced Nursery Manager looking for a new exciting challenge?

A full time role is available with an immediate start at a Private Nursery in the Boston Spa area of North Leeds.

The position is for 40 hours a week with an attractive salary. You will ideally hold EYPS or EYTS but a minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare (NVQ, CACHE, NNEB) is required. You will have up to date knolwedge on the EYFS and safeguarding policies. The setting is a well established Private nursery with a passion for outdoor play and has been run by the same family for three generations.

Main roles include:
Ensuring the nursery meets Ofsted and early years foundation stage standards
Creating a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning
Updating parents and carers on children's progress
Working with colleagues to meet children's needs
Staff planning
Dealing with parent enquiries, show rounds and complaints
Recruiting staff
Supporting and developing the nursery team
Managing a budget
Maintaining records and creating management reports
Complying with environmental, health and safety and fire regulations
Keeping up to date with developments in early years care
Building relationships with relevant agencies, schools and childcare professionals
Administration of nursery grants
Invoicing of fees and monitoring and collection of debts
Recording receipt of cash and cheque payments and petty cash
Preparation of data for monthly payroll run, including sickness and holiday record
