As an integral part of their Business Improvement Department, the Business Improvement Engineer will be responsible for delivering sustainable improvements in key areas of product Quality, Delivery and all other business transactional processes.

Aiming to reduce the cost of non-quality by 20%, you will drive, initiate and facilitate change programmes and business improvements which impact the bottom line whilst supporting the business in leading Major Investment Change Projects. Ensuring compliance to metrics and legislative standards, you will coordinate improvements and focussed programmes through ideas generation whilst completing projects to plan, on time, within cost and to specification. Furthermore, you will lead and drive complex quality resolution programmes and be involved in value stream mapping key business systems and processes to identify waste and NVA.

Highly self-motivated and with a methodical approach, you will be Six Sigma trained to Green Belt or Black Belt level and have a proven track record with a successful portfolio of achievements. An effective time manager with the ability to multi-task, you will have a strong business operational focus and be approachable with a professional manner. You will need to be confident in building relationships, communicating well at all levels and be a strong team player who is able to work on own initiative.

A degree / HN qualification in Engineering, Management and / or Materials is highly desirable but not essential.
