Salary: £9.03 per hour
6 Months Fixed Term Contract – 36.25 hours per week
Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a temporary Seasonal Streetscene Operatives on behalf of their client a district council in Chorley.
You will be working on a seasonal basis, to work within the Streetscene Teams as the summer workload increases with grass cutting and general grounds maintenance tasks. The post requires the holder to have full EU driving licence.
Duties will mainly be based around general grounds maintenance but a flexible attitude to work and the ability to multi-task is required. You will be expected to use a variety of equipment including ride on mowers, pedestrian mowers, strimmers, leaf blowers, hedge cutters and a variety of hand tools. You can also expect to be deployed on general street cleansing duties which may include removing fly tipped waste, emptying litter bins and litter picking. You will need to provide a high quality service to the residents of Chorley.
