Your new company
A fixed term Maternity cover post for a Key Stage 2 Teacher in a Bridgwater Primary School has arisen. The Primary School are looking to appoint a passionate teacher to cover a Year 4 class in a 3 form entry from January 2017. This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified or an NQT looking to work in a successful school in the Somerset area.
Your new role
In your new role you will be covering a Year 4 class. You will need to liaise closely with other year group colleague and to ensure that learning and teaching is well planned and the highest quality standards are achieved. You will be expected to identify clear teaching objectives and specify how the pupils will be taught and assessed. You will be expected to set clear targets and provide clear structures for lessons and maintaining pace, motivation and challenges.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified teacher and hold QTS in the UK. You must also have a genuine passion for teaching that will help the children reach their full potential. You will have exceptional behaviour management and great communication skills, both with students and colleagues alike.
