This organisation requires a Support Engineer to complement their dynamic existing team. Looking to recruit a Customer focused, well organised, enthusiastic individual who will provide helpdesk support to external customers, assisting them with hardware and software problems. You will be troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and supporting a wide range of IT systems, typically for 10-150 users.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide comprehensive 2nd/3rd line technical support, answering support queries via telephone, on-line / remotely and customer facing onsite.
- Provide support to the first and second line teams when necessary.
- To maintain a high degree of customer focus for all support queries and to adhere to all service management principles.
- To take ownership of Clients' problems and be proactive when dealing with the Clients' issues.
- To log and manage all calls on the Call Logging systems.
- Respond to enquiries from Clients and help them resolve their hardware or software problems.
- Support Clients' in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.

The Candidate
You will be an experienced 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer with 5 or more year's commercial experience, with a proven track record in a senior support role. Proficient in Microsoft Operating systems, including Desktop O/S XP - Windows 8.1, windows Server 2003 - 2012 R2, including SBS Server. Microsoft Office 365 and specifically SharePoint skills are a must. You will have at least 2 years Office 365 and SharePoint experience, this includes deploying and supporting SharePoint Sites for customers.

You will have knowledge on how to setup, administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange and Office 365. You will also have sound understanding of how to setup, troubleshoot and maintain routers, firewalls and switches.

This role requires experience in deploying and supporting Microsoft Office Suites as well as excellent hardware knowledge, (PC and Server) setup and configuration. You will also have full understanding of Networking Protocols and TCP/IP fundamentals. Any ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco and Apple qualifications would be beneficial to your application.
