Research Midwife

Description: Person Specification The research fellow will be a clinically active midwife, who also holds a masters qualification. The ideal candidate will have experience of qualitative research, have knowledge of maternity services in the UK, and experience in participatory research methods. The postholder will be expected to work effectively with service providers and users as well as members of the wider research team. : Responsibilities The research fellow will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research activities. This will include non participant observation of staff development activities, meetings, stakeholders events. The researcher will also conduct individual and group interviews with participants. The researcher will also be fully involved with the analysis, writing up and dissemination of findings. Job Category: Research Staff Contract: Fixed Term
