General Description of Job:
The Supply Chain Administrator will provide supply chain support to the fleet provision team on a range of supplier agreements and tasks. Interfacing with outside agencies/organisations and provide supply chain services and support to internal customers from adjacent functions (finance, business development etc.). This role is responsible for arranging supplier quotations for specialist rental services using a list of preferred suppliers.
Main Tasks:
???To provide administrative support to a wide variety of supply chain and vehicle provision focused activities including e-procurement and competitive tenders.
???Generating quotations for specialist rental services for clients through e-procurement procedures.
???General support to the Supply Chain Managers in their duties, including being the focal point for adjacent functions, and the wider business where necessary.
???In-life management of supply chain contracts and relationships as appropriate.
???Administration of supplier management tools and procedures (including compliance, documentation and contractual change management and Contract Awareness), to ensure that control is maintained throughout the relevant projects' lifecycle.
???Ensure team compliance with Group corporate governance and Commercial and Supply Chain policies and procedures.
???Undertaking due diligence assessments and maintenance of all supplier registers.
???Positively administer compliance with our internal policies and procedures, as regards supply chain practice in respect of all tasks assigned.
???To ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are complied with at all times.
???To actively contribute to the achievement of both individual and department targets and objectives.
Experience and Qualifications:
???Educated to GCSE level
???Competent user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
???Experience of fleet management operations
???Experience of supply chain activities
???Experience of contact centre operations
???Knowledge of the Transport Industry and MOD Environment
