About the Role:

As Store Manager, you will be passionate about home interiors and lead using your enthusiasm to inspire and motivate your team, offering a consistent level of high customer service. As a Brand Ambassador you will represent us at the highest level.

You will have complete responsibility for the day to day operation of the store including customer service, sales generation, profitability, cost controls, human resources and visual merchandising. You will demonstrate sales leadership for the team by playing an active role on the sales floor.

You should be an existing retail Manager looking for the next step in your career. You will be experienced in all aspects of providing excellent customer service, as well as staff training and development. You possess a natural flair for hitting and exceeding targets, whilst maintaining the high standards installed by the brand. You will need to be confident, committed and have a professional attitude at all times. You must possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills and have a passion for selling. It goes without saying that you also have a genuine love for homes and interiors. 

Store Manager Responsibilities:

+ Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards at all times. Manage and coach the team in selling techniques and product knowledge to ensure that customers’ needs and expectations are met in store and online. You will need to ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything you do.

+ Ensure the profitability of your store and drive sales through effective management, motivation and communication with your team. Manage sales targets, incentives and KPI goals to maximize profit. 

+ Analyse available sales reports and data to advise on improvements to the store performance and to contribute to future business strategy.

+ Recruit, train and motivate the team to drive the success of the store. Review, evaluate and improve team performance based on KPI goals. 

+ Build and maintain good communication with your line manager and the rest of the team to feedback on performance and suggested improvements in all aspects of the business.

+ Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed to ensure high standards are achieved and maintained. Be responsible for all health and safety and other regulatory matters within the store.

+ Deliver brand and visual merchandising standards of the highest quality, whilst using flair and initiative to maximise sales.

+ Develop, manage and implement store promotions to develop brand awareness within the local community.

Store Manager Key skills:

+ Minimum of 3 years experience at management level within a lifestyle/home brand is preferred
+ A proven record of commercial success
+ Customer service focused, with strong communication skills
+ Self motivated, strong leadership skills and sales and target driven
+ Highly organized with a professional manner
+ Creative with an understanding of visual merchandising
+ Analytical, with ability to measure performance of product categories in store
+ Strong people management skills - in particular with regards to training and development, performance management and team motivation
+ Good computer skills and knowledge of POS sytems, office word and excel
