Senior Gardener/Grounds Maintenance Operative - Bristol BS3
Our client's business is growing! As a result they are looking for Gardener to join their busy team. Based across Bristol (BS3) you will play an essential role in the maintenance of green spaces within our client's neighbourhoods.
What your role will be
Working within a small team of Landscapers and Senior Landscapers you will carry out a high quality grounds maintenance service
A driving licence is essential for this role
As well as maintaining both artificial and natural turf and lawns we will need you to keep our neighbourhoods in bloom by planting trees, shrubs and flowers.
As the safety of our customers and employees is at the forefront of what we do we will need you to maintain the upkeep of playgrounds, walkways and car parks as well as clearing snow from pedestrian areas and retail area. Repairs including fountains, fences and planters will also need to be carried out.
We will require you to apply herbicides, fungicides and insecticides on plants or soil. You will also carry out lawn inspections and apply fertilizers, pesticides as required.
As we work within the general public we need you to ensure everything is carried out within Health & Safety guidelines and the client's Health & Safety Policy is adhered to.
Your background
Have you worked within a landscape maintenance team previously? If yes then we want to hear from you.
??? It is essential to hold a PA1 and PA6 spraying license.
??? We will need you to hold a current driving license and preferably a trailer licence
??? This role will see you exposed to the best and worst of the British weather, we need you to be prepared to work hard come rain or shine.
??? The Landscape Team carries out maintenance within our communities so this role will see you working closely with our customers, therefore we will need you to be an excellent communicator.
??? This is a busy time for us so we need you to have strong organisation skills to manage you workload.
