Location: Bristol

The role
I am currently representing a global manufacturing client who are actively seeking an experienced Office Manager/ PA to be based in Bristol. You will provide efficient and comprehensive support to the SVP Engineering and to lead the PA/ administration team ensuring the smooth running of the offices and technology centres within the business unit.

Duties and responsibilities
Organise and manage complex diary arrangements, meetings, domestic/ international travel and expenses whilst also maintaining senior staff whereabouts
Identify, anticipate and prepare information requirements of the SVP for meetings, appointments, presentations etc and follow up inward and outward requests for information, outstanding reports and correspondence
Produce and edit correspondence, documents, communications, briefing papers, reports and presentations
Manage incoming email, documents and post, corresponding on behalf of the SVP
Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority
Attend meetings where required, take minutes and be the point of contact for managers
Lead, coach and develop the team of PA's/ Administrators ensuring that objectives are set, clearly communicated and reviewed regularly whilst supporting continuous development
Coordinate the work of PA's/ Administrators ensuring cover for periods of absence
Balance workloads amongst the team
Implement effective work processes and procedures continuously improving ways of working
Budget control, management of purchase orders and expenses
Facilities Management

Skills, experience and qualifications required
A minimum of a C in Maths and English GCSE level (or equivalent)
Strong IT skills, advanced MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with Project being an advantage
Ability to work well under pressure
Event management skills
Experience leading a team of PA's/ Administrators
Health & Safety Management
Ability to manage constantly changing diary priorities
