A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Year 6 teacher to join a school in Baldock graded Good by Ofsted in June 2016 with fantastic facilities.

The post would be to start in February half term until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for a permanent post come September. Although full time would be preferred, 4 days can also be accommodated.

As well as a supportive and welcoming Headteacher, you will be one of two Year 6 teachers so will have a parallel teacher to plan and have PPA time with.

The school itself is a modern building set in extensive grounds. The teaching areas are semi-open plan, providing a flexible working situation with traditional class units plus shared working/activity areas. The learning resources of the school are extended by a central library, additional resource and study areas, their outdoor classroom, outdoor play equipment and a well resourced, dedicated Early Years outdoor play area.

Ofsted say "Pupils are very positive about their school. They clearly enjoy school life and this is reflected in their good attendance. They make the most of the outstanding opportunities provided for learning and for their personal development. Their behaviour is excellent and this helps the

teachers teach to the high level that they do."

If you are successfully appointed you will join a dedicated and hardworking staff who are committed to the welfare and educational needs of their children and be supported by a Governing Body and Friends Association (FHSA) who actively support the school.

Think this could be your next career move? Apply now through Randstad Education, preferred recruiter for Hertfordshire County Council and Herts for Learning and benefit from a dedicated consultant through the recruitment process.

"I was very pleased with the support and assistance I received from Randstad staff. They were efficient and professional in their approach to me and I felt valued and rewarded. I am now working in a school that is immensely rewarding and satisfying to work in and I think that this would not have been possible without your help."
