Job Title: Regional Sales Executive - Northampton/Leicester/Gloucester/Coventry Candidate location: On patch - Field Based, working remotely from home and commuting to an office twice per week. Selling: My client is an elite Value Added Reseller of SolidWorks Software Solutions. Solutions include 3D CAD software, Design Validation/Simulation software, Product Data Management software, Electrical design Software, plus Product Documentation software. Also sell training, support and consultancy services around software. Targeting: Engineering companies from SME's to Corporate PLC's. Any organisation that's involved in product design development. Industries will include Automotive & Transportation, Agricultural Equipment, Consumer Products, Industrial Components, Mechanical Machinery, Medical Devices, Scientific & Measuring Equipment, Fabricators etc.Dealing with: Multilevel including Directors, Owners and User levels.Business gained by: 50% New Business - Responsible for the full sales cycle from cold calling, opportunity qualification, presentations through to close of the sale. Supported by a dedicated presales team in relation to product demonstrations. In addition to prospecting, leads are also provided via inbound enquiries and Marketing Department. 50% Account Management - Will inherit a number of existing customer accounts within territory and hold responsibility for upselling, cross selling, identifying opportunities outside of the original sell and maximising revenue opportunities within the existing account base. Competition: AutoDesk, Siemens SolidEdge and PTC/Pro Engineer/ Creo resellers. Company Information:-? Established 1988? SolidWorks is the marketing leading 3d Design CAD package - over 3 million user's part of a GBP1.7 billion turnover group.Package: 25K - 30K basic, plus car allowance, business mileage/expenses, mobile phone, laptop. OTE is GBP65K uncapped with accelerators in place for over achievers. For top performers 6 figure earnings are achievable. Candidate Requirements:- ? Attitude is probably the number one ingredient, must be hungry, self-motivated and eager to learn.? Must live on patch and be prepared to attend the office 2 days per week.? Stable track record - no job hoppers? Any affiliation to Engineering or Design would be advantageous such as qualification, worked within or sold to Engineering organisations.? Ideally will of have sold IT/Software based solutions or Engineering/Technical products or services. Will consider other product backgrounds but candidate must be able to demonstrate the aptitude to pick up a technical product.? New business focussed with account management capabilities - Must be self-sufficient and able to take accountability for the full sales cycle including cold calling.? Ideally will have field based sales experience, client facing, presentation and closing skills.
