We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Management Coordinator on a 12 months fixed term contract to be based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes. As a Supplier Management Coordinator you will support the administration of the Supplier Management team and the delivery of the Supplier Compensation Programme.Playing a pivotal role within the team you will enable delivery of improved commercial supply metrics driving real benefit, group profitability and an improved customer shopping experience.As a Supplier Management Coordinator you will have responsibility for:To manage, improve, deliver and challenge the current Supplier Compensation Programme.Highlight operational issues that could impact overall team objectives.To work with suppliers to aid delivery of KPI'sSupport and implement supplier relationships management and practice across the Argos supply base to help drive cost effectiveness and operational efficiencies.To ensure day to day operational capability of the team completing all required tasks.Responsibility for supplier communication of required business process.To be successful in this role we ask that you:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong influencing and negotiation skills.Demonstrable drive and commitment to learn and adapt.Strong, resilient team play with the ability to work under pressure.Excellent planning skills.A good level of experience in some of the following: Merchandise/ Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Operations.Intermediate excel skills i.e. V-look ups.
