Main role and objectives: As Executive Housekeeper of our brand new hotel, you will establish, manage and direct all activities relating to Housekeeping to maximise quality standards while maintaining productivity. Through recruiting, training and leading your new team, you will develop and implement strategies, control costs, manage our agency partner, and provide inspirational service to ensure maximum guest satisfaction is delivered. Job role responsibilities: Ensure the Hotel is ready for a successful opening and our new bedrooms, restaurant and meeting rooms are prepared to inspire our guests.Efficient ongoing organisation and delivery of full housekeeping services, including bedroom cleaning, public areas, supervision and linen, all to company standards and within productivity goals.Ensure that the team are engaged and appropriate measures are in place to develop them. Carrying out performance appraisals as per Company guidelines and discussed with the General Manager and HR Manager to identify and develop potential.Actively champion and promote guest satisfaction as measured in Medallia. Share results and feedback regularly with the hotel team and identify and act upon opportunities to improve service. Analysing departmental expenditures, wages, GP% against business performance to identify areas in which efficiencies can be made to ensure cost effectiveness and accurate forecast are submitted to meet budgetSet and agree departmental objectives in line with hotel objectives and balance scorecard, and communicate these through the 90 day plans, ensuring all targets are met within the agreed timescalesImplement company policies and procedures where necessary and in line with Company standardsEnsure that departmental meetings occur on regular basis and cover appropriate topics to ensure the team is driving forward with the department/hotel strategyTo ensure all Company health and safety requirements are met consistently and that the team is aware of their obligations What we are looking for: An energetic individual who is truly passionate about Hotels with a proven track record in Housekeeping leadership capable of creating an inspirational guest experienceSomeone who is great at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business and with partners, communicating effectively in a range of situationsA leader who is passionate about engaging, inspiring and developing their team Experienced in working within budgets and ensures compliance with health & safety requirementsSomeone able to work in a fast paced working environment while leading from the frontKnowledge and experience in using Opera is preferable Park Plaza isn't just a great place to work - it's a great place to take your career to the next level!
