Accounts Receivable needed for a part time, 12 month Fixed term contract for a well established governing body in the city of London. You will have previous Sales ledger experience, working in the public sector or another not-for-profit organisation. This is a part-time role working 5 days 9am-3pm and would suit someone looking for work life balance. You must be AAT qualified for studying for AAT or ACCA. Key skills include: Previous experience in processing invoices, doing BACS Payments and sales-ledger experienceGood competence in Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel and OutlookHave AAT or studying towards ACCA/CIMAPrevious experience in a charity is preferred Able to work under pressureExcellent organisational skillsExcellent time management skillsExcellent telephone manner Candidates should have excellent communication, numeracy and ICT skills and a background in finance. You will need to be highly organised, have an eye and attention for detail. Responsibilities will include: You will be Issuing invoices for all room hires.You will be recording and maintaining a reference system for invoices to ensure it can be easily tracked.You will be reconciling invoice records with outstanding aged debt.You will be Liaising with the Room Hire and Front Desk on lists of attendanceYou will cross check of numbers against details provided.You will check and chase any Lodges or Chapters in arrears.You will complete monthly statistic report for the the COO.You will be assisting with month-end processing to ensure the department's deadlines are met.You will be taking an active part in the monthly finance meeting by making suggestions for improvements, periodically setting the agenda and taking minutes for approval by the COO.
