Management Accountant

Balance Recruitment have been exclusively instructed by this top 100 UK law firm in their search to find a Management Accountant to join the firm on a permanent basis. The firm in question are growing rapidly, offering high quality legal services to a diverse range of clients. They are ideally located for easy transport links, as well one of London's best food markets! We are on the hunt for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) who wants to apply their developing technical accounting background within a stable business, who have a reputation in the sector that you can be proud of. The firm have an inclusive culture, and the Accounts team in particular is one that promotes the nurturing of talent, evidenced by the previous incumbent of this role, who progressed rapidly within the team. The successful applicant will play a key role in the finance function, and have the opportunity to get involved in a range of duties, with a busy but varied workload. You will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, including full commentary on both overall and departmental performance, budgeting and forecasting. You will also be involved in Partnership Accounting to include drawings calculations, and related submissions to Companies House and Inland Revenue. This opportunity is well suited to a CIMA/ACCA part-qualified accountant looking to gain exposure within a professional law firm environment, or indeed someone currently in larger firm who would like to have more autonomy and variation in their next move.
