Finance Assistant - Blue Chip Organisation! Our client (a leading brand name in the entertainment industry) is looking for an Finance Assistant to join their busy team of 3 in the Finance Department. You will be assisting the entire Finance department with all aspects of the company's accounts, working closely with the Financial Controller The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Excel & Word and previous accounting package experience would be beneficial. Finance Assistant duties: Run Daily Sales Invoices, print, post & file togetherMachine Operations (OPS) Income: calculate and update relevant reportsRaise Sales Invoices for OPS incomeSet up and process Regular Barclays Payments, Direct Debits & Standing Orders e.g. Telephones, Fuel Card, Mobiles, Rent, Rates, Salaries etc???)Complete daily Bank Reconciliations on all bank accounts:Maintain Fixed Assets RegisterCompany Credit Card (Barclaycard)Post all Monthly Nominal Journals onto accounts packageAssist with Accounts Package Month-end proceduresAssist with the production of the monthly OPS Profit & LossAssist with the monthly stock reportsAssist with the monthly Sales & Margin reportsProduce & File monthly EC Sales & Intrastat declarations with HMRCMaintain Holiday Register (record holiday, sick records etc???)Open & distribute incoming post, checking and preparing outgoing postMaintains stationery cupboard - order stock etc. Distribute statements to usersPrepare and maintain spreadsheet for monthly statementChase and collate information required Person Specification Good numerical skillsAttention to detailInterested in Finance / AccountingPreferably educated to Degree Standard Additional Information: Based in ChessingtonGBP18,000 - GBP20,000 according to experience and capabilities20 days holiday rising to 25 after 5 full yearsAnnual Pay reviewAnnual discretionary bonus of up to 7.5% of your SalaryCompany Pension Scheme (4% contribution by Company & 4% contribution by Employee)Optional Private Health Cover for individual only (taxable)Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 3.30pmParking on site Please note; Due to the large number of applications that we receive, if you have not had a response within 7 days, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
