Electronics Production Engineer
A World leader in the development, manufacture and supply of security systems are seeking a Electronics Production Engineer to maintain plant equipment and special tooling, fixtures, trolleys, etc. including design and assembly, you will also interface with product development to ensure product is designed for manufacture and improve manufacturing techniques to reduce cycle times, remove waste, increase quality and repeatability.
You will be responsible for-
+ Supporting the line from a test point of view, able to speak to Operators and get the line up and running
+ Set up Test Scopes (Oscilloscopes etc).
+ Developing and maintaining special tooling, fixtures, trolleys, plant equipment etc.
+ Hands on approach to all manufacturing requirements.
+ Fault find, diagnose, and identify what the route cause is before they have to get engineering Support or help.
Skills and qualifications required-
+ They are looking for someone who has had a manufacturing / Electronics Production Engineering role previously
+ Ability and personal attributes are more relevant than academic qualifications, but a discipline in electromechanical engineering would be an advantage.
+ Experience or a grounded understanding of electromechanical manufacture, this includes PCA manufacture.
+ A diverse range of manufacturing and engineering skills. Competent or has a good understanding of electromechanical manufacture, design for manufacture, tool making, technical writing, root cause analysis, process improvement, hands on engineering, etc.
+ The ability to understand technical drawings, documents and product manufacture
