Assistant Manager Location: Chester Location: Starting salary of GBP20k plus tips We have an opening for an assistant manager for our 120 cover, busy country pub/restaurant. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who are looking for long term personal success and who wish to progress with a rapidly expanding independent company. The candidate must be highly motivated and personable and be able to think for themselves. The role carries a lot of responsibility and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is essential. You will report to the general manager and be leading a team of 30. In this role you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of this busy and popular venue. You will ensure all guests are provided with an efficient, friendly and professional service, ensuring that sales are maximised and all costs are controlled, whilst managing and developing your team. The right person can expect rapid progression to Restaurant Manager as we are in the process of taking on a new venue due to open in March 2017. The Person: To be considered for the post of assistant Manager the successful candidate will demonstrate a consistent employment background at management level within a quality environment. In addition you will be a career driven individual who is passionate about delivering quality and standards.
