A UK Contractor that specialises in Civil Engineering and Water type projects is currently seeking a Site Manager for on going contracts around Oxford. In this role you will be responsible for managing specific sections of work which will move around local sites as required, so a willingness to travel between sites is essential.
You can expect to be working with various engineering disciplines including Piling, Road works, Culvert replacements, Inland Marinas, Scouring Bridges and more.
Within this role you would be responsible for but not limited to any of the following;
* Ensuring Engineer is on site when required
* Daily record keeping
* Ensuring all required paperwork is provided before works start
* Calling in materials
* Health and Safety compliance
* Managing Subcontractors and direct employees
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previously worked as a Site Manager
* Have a proven record of managing personnel and subcontractors
* Hold a valid CSCS card.
* Valid SMSTS and First aid
