Role: Project Design engineer Location: CambridgeSalary: GBP38,000 - GBP45,000 + benefits What will you be doing? As a Project design engineer you will be joining a small engineering team to help and support the management if product development work*Manage development (sub) projects *Contribute to the design of new, and development of existing (bio)chemical sensors and associated (fluidics) systems and test environments *Aid the optimisation of product engineering (sensor environment, sampling systems, fluidics???) *Help coordinate and run in-house experimentation for new products and perform appropriate tests *Assist and participate in product failure investigation *Data collection and summarisation *Prepare oral and written reports for all product development activities and analyse performance. *Presentation of results and contribution *Theoretical and technical insight and support *Collaborate with the test- and development team What skills are required??*Solid engineering or scientific background *Proven track record in managing smaller size projects *Raining in/previous use of software/tools such as Excel, LabVIEW, MATLAB, VB, Microsoft Project *Experience of working with quality systems, e.g. ISO13485, or to GMP, GLP *Project planning in the form of Gantt charts, PERT charts, projected budget, etc Desired Skills:*Experience in electrochemical sensing, MEMS, microfluidics and/or medical device development is not required but highly desirable If this role is of interest please call Danielle on or email
