Our client is looking for Sales Ledger clerk to work 32.5 hours a week to start as soon as possible for an 8 week temporary assignment.  Duties will include:

  • Post daily Sales Ledger Direct Debit bounces to the financial system
  • Post daily credit card/cheque receipts to the financial system
  • Allocate daily Sales Ledger credit notes/unallocated Sales Ledger receipts against Sales Ledger balances due on the financial system
  • Process and post daily automated/manual Direct Debit collections to the financial system
  • Prepare and process daily Direct Debit mandates
  • Post daily Sales Ledger invoice/credit note batches to the financial system generated by the Operations team in Knaresborough
  • Reconcile weekly Sales Ledger postings to the nominal ledger for Manager approval
  • Liaise with Credit team
  • Maintain sales ledger batchbooks and cashbooks
  • Process and post daily Prepay DD collections
  • Post daily Prepay credit card receipts to the financial system

Candidates will need to have previous sales ledger experience and have good IT literacy.
