Fareham College is seeking a Learning Resources Facilitator to support our curriculum teams with the development and use of a comprehensive suite of e-learning resources. This role will actively engage and support learners in accessing the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and other e-learning resources.

The iLearning Resources Centre (iLRC) is a valuable college resource which offers our students access toa suite of PCs, books, journals, publications, e-resources and a quiet study area. Directed Independent Study is a key feature of the new Study Programme and has led to many more students accessing the iLRC to work on assignments and carry out research. Such activities need to be supported by innovative and enthusiastic facilitators who are experienced in supporting students and understanding their diverse needs and abilities.

The ideal candidate for this post will have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and communicate with young people. They must have a level 3 qualification in literacy (or equivalent) and be confident in presenting using a variety of media. They will be self-motivated, adaptable and will uphold our Core Values, to Respect, Innovate and Excel.

This position will include working until 7pm on Thursday evenings not including student holiday periods.
