FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Initially 30 hours a week
£16,500 per annum FTE (pro rata based on a 35 hour week) with potential for full time hours and salary review dependent on individual and business performance .
We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to manage our finance and administration.
We're changing to QuickBooks and we need you to lead the transition from TAS, with support from our external accountants. You'll then manage all aspects of finance operations including budget preparation, maintenance and closure of monthly accounts, compilation of purchase and sales ledgers, invoicing and VAT returns
You'll ensure all admin and financial processes are adhered to across the charity, implementing new procedures as necessary. You'll complete annual accounts and liaise with our auditors. You'll also manage the office staff and volunteer team.
The railway is open 364 days a year so we need someone to work flexibly to include some weekends and bank holidays
