Head of Finance Our client, a successful, established company based close to Truro are currently seeking a Head of Finance, the role offers a competitive package and vibrant working environment. The Role: Head of Finance This role requires the provision of financial resource to Directors and Senior Management. Historical reports and data will be used to prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis. The successful candidate will be working closely with Senior Management to develop an effective system of financial control and reporting. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to... * Preparation of monthly management accounts * Conduct internal audits * Stock Management * Managing company payroll * Manage Credit Control Accounts * Training finance staff * Manage treasury operations * Bank account management including reconciliations * Completion of year-end figures * Management of the finance team Candidate Specification: Head of Finance For this position, we are seeking applications from candidates with relevant experience in a similar role. Additionally, candidates will ideally be able to demonstrate... * A relevant degree and/or ACA/CIMA/ACCA/AAT Qualified or equivalent relevant experience * Financial reporting experience (2 years +) * Excellent Computer literacy * Experience using Pegasus Opera * Logical and analytical approach * Experience managing a team * The ability to develop good business relationships and rapport * Discretion when handling sensitive information * Able to work well under pressure * Able to work well as part of a team This is a full-time, permanent position, salary will be dependent on experience.
