A well-qualified colleague is sought to join our outstanding faculty of Science covering the maternity leave of the current post holder. We seek the very best teachers who can consistently teach good or better lessons. You will be able to enthuse and motivate our students with your passion for Science and creative teaching, presence and personality. Applications would be considered from all Science specialisms or combinations of Sciences.

Science is a high achieving and dynamic faculty.  Results are outstanding and students make excellent progress. Our results consistently demonstrate a positive Progress 8 score and over the past 5 years we have performed well above National Average.  Members of the very supportive team are totally committed to ensuring successful outcomes for our students.

Camborne Science & International Academy is a friendly, dynamic and innovative school in the heart of beautiful West Cornwall, which affords a high quality of life. We are  Cornwall's most consistently high performing state secondary school with outstanding GCSE results in August 2016, with a 99.1% pass rate and 70% attainment for five or more A*-C grades including English and Mathematics, first time entry.

We achieved 100% pass rate across its range of twenty-three A-Level courses for August 2016. Mathematics and Sciences are the most popular choices at A-Level in the VI Form with students studying Mathematics achieving 83% A*- B and those studying Science subjects achieving 62% A* - B.

Our school has developed exceptional International Science and Mathematics links with top schools in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, China and South Korea. Recent collaboration has involved joint research projects, International Science and Mathematics fairs and competitions, as well as many significant student/staff visits and exchanges. The successful appointees will be encouraged to participate in this amazing and unique programme.
