CNC Operator

Have you worked in a fast paced production environment before?

My prestigious client who is a Manufacturer in Cardiff is growing substantially. Due to increased demand for a number of new products, this company is looking to take on a number of experienced CNC Operators. With excellent prospects for future progression, this role is ideal for someone looking to build on their existing skills.

The Role
• Set and run CNC machines to include Lathes and VMC machines
• Ensuring safety within the work area
• Meeting quality standards
• Liaising with other areas of the business as appropriate
• Operates other manual equipment
• Complete other duties reasonably requested by management.
• Ability to work shifts when required. (Early and late day shifts)
• Work overtime when needed.

The Candidate

• Experience running CNC machine preferably Lathes and VMC's
• Preferable Apprentice Trained
• Experience running manual machines including lathes, drills and grinding.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to use measuring equipment accurately and repeatedly.
• Good communication skills.
• Commutable within a reasonable distance.
