I am searching for an experienced QA on behalf of a well known food manufacturer.
The ideal candidate has the opportunity to develop and progress within the business. You will need a good knowledge of product quality, ideally within a chilled enviroment. You will need to ensure product safety, quality and legality at all times for all products throughout the production process.
Main duties:
*Conduct in-line checking of the various product types against the finished product attribute system.
*Ensure food safety hygiene procedures are maintained.
*Monitor finished products to meet customer specification and report out of specification material to the Technical Manager.
*Monitor process control paperwork in ensuring traceability systems are followed throughout the factory.
*Collect raw material samples, finished product samples, swabs and water samples to schedule and submit for microbial and pesticidal analysis.
*Ensure controls around knives, allergens, fabrication issues, blades, traceability and GMP
As the ideal candidate you must be flexible within required working hours, you must also hold good knowledge and experience of a chilled enviroment. Strong communication skills is required, alongside good judgement as this plays a vital part in the role. A responsible individual with all the skills above will be a perfect match within the business.
