Are you an experience Functional Skills Manager? Do you have experience managing a regional delivery team of Assessors of Functional Skills Tutors? Do you have proven ability in improving Functional Skills learning outcomes?
Due to successful growth, this role will see you manage the national work-based Functional Skills delivery team. You will be responsible for performance management, targets, budget delivery, ensuring a high standard of teaching & learning & recruitment.
The Operations Manager will inherit a reporting line of 8 Functional Skills Tutors who are based all across the UK. For travel purposes, the Operations Manager will ideally be based in Surrey, Sussex, Kent, London etc.
Role requirements:
* Experience managing Functional Skills or Literacy & Numeracy Lecturers / Trainers
* A sound understanding of Functional Skills delivery
* Experience driving quality and standards of teaching & learning
* Experience working at management level within the Apprenticeship, Traineeship or Functional Skills provisions - from either FE or PTP backgrounds.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK as and when required.
Salary & Benefits:
* GBP30,000 - GBP40,000pa basic salary (Negotiable depending on experience)
* Business mileage reimbursed monthly

* 23 days annual leave + bank holidays
