New opportunity for Senior Control System Engineer to be based near Nottingham

Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 + Benefits

My client is searching for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join an expanding team. The ideal candidate would be versed in full software lifecycle programming on a wide range of PLC systems, such as Siemens S7 and TIA portal, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi. As well as this they will need to be confident working within a team of engineers, and also be confident managing a project. The role is full project so the candidate will be expected to travel to site for comissioning purposes.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Senior Control System Engineer are:

* Working full software lifecycle of PLC automation systems
* Working within a team to manage the current projects
* Programming from scratch, testing and commissioning systems
* Design of Control Panels using CAD software
* Making sure that the requirements of the customer are met

Ideally you will have:

* Experience programming from scratch with Siemens S7 and TIA portal, other brands are also acceptable
* Experience working with PLCs and automation in a variety of sectors, but material handling will be an advantage
* Confidence in managing a project
* Be degree or HNC qualified (electrical engineering or similar)
* Experience designing control panels using AutoCAD or EPlan is desirable
