Sellick Partnership have been commissioned on an exclusive basis to recruit for Acis Group, who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Accountant based at their head office in Gainsborough.

The opportunity???
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful Technical Accountant will be an integral part of the finance team and fundamental in the delivery of all technical accounting and tax management activities for the Group.
As Technical Accountant, you will take accountability for the efficient and compliant delivery of the Group's obligations and aspirations in respect of financial accounting and tax management, including:
* Providing effective leadership, support and guidance to the Finance Trainee(s)
* Managing and co-ordinating the balance sheets of Group entities
* Acting as the business lead for ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements, including any project management of changes which require implementation
* Leading on planning and delivery of year end processes and statutory financial reporting for all Group entities, on a consolidated basis
* Contributing towards the development of financial systems
* Contributing towards the development of the Group-wide financial controls assurance framework
* Managing the tax affairs of the business
* Maintaining the Group's fixed asset register
* Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger chart of accounts
The ideal candidate???
* Qualified accountant, or equivalent
* Strong technical skills
* Customer focus
* A good eye for detail
* Coaching, developing and leadership skills
* Strong communication skills - the ability to communicate complex financial data to both finance and non-finance colleagues
* Takes an outwardly focussed approach - committed to delivering the highest level of customer service and be comfortable influencing at all levels within the organisation
* Experience of working in a Social Housing environment (desirable)
* Experience of using the SUN system (desirable)
Remuneration???
This position offers a salary of GBP40,000 and a benefits package including pension, together with genuine scope for personal development within a complex, fast moving organisation that puts people first:
