1st Line IT Support - Permanent - Gloucester - ??14-18K depending on experience
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this growing company based in the centre of Gloucester which offer an excellent working environment and benefits package
The successful 1st Line IT Support Advisor will have some previous 1st line support experience or have recently completed some IT training or a degree in a related subject.
The 1st Line IT Support Advisor will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for the following -
* Providing 1st line support to user
* Investigating issues
* Resolving or escalating issues
* Logging & Reporting issues
* Working to a test plan
* Scenario testing
* Reporting
* Managing backup regime
* Verifying backup reports
* Providing frontline support for printers and PC's
* Updating Hardware inventory and verify serial no.'s and spec.
* Updating and record software versions installed
* Assisting with new equipment installations (PC's & Printers)
* Providing frontline support with telephone system
The 1st Line IT Support Advisor will require -
* An excellent knowledge of IT systems and packages, gained through experience or education
* A positive outlook to work
* Good communication skills
* The ability to learn in a technical environment
* Educated to a minimum of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
