Mechanical Inspector
??25,000 - ??27,000 + 25days + bank holidays, pension, profit share, life assurance.

A leading designer and manufacturer of equipment for the Aerospace industry currently require the services of an experienced Mechanical Inspector on a permanent to support the inspection of in house and sub contract components.
As a Mechanical Inspector you will work as part of an expanding team, predominantly conducting inspection of mechanical and machined parts used in aircraft manufacture. These can be either parts made in house or bought in from suppliers or partners.
The Mechanical Inspector will also be involved in operating the CMM machine, inspecting complex mechanical components, parts and assemblies. You will need to identify any non conforming parts and produce a report for the quality team to investigate.
The successful Mechanical Inspector will hold a relevant engineering qualification and have held a similar position within a high technology manufacturer ideally in the aerospace or automotive industry. You will need to be able to read engineering drawings.
