Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer - 3 Shift System

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP34,500 + Pension + Overtime

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the world's largest packaging and container manufacturers, who have been established for over 100 years and turns over in excess of GBP3 billion world wide. The group currently employs over 10,000 people in hundreds of locations world wide and once again is growing due to an increased market presence.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with electrical bias (but multi-skilled) and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked on Siemens, Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley PLC systems it would be advantageous. Also able and willing to work on gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
