The Manager of Consolidation & Planning is a strategic partner to the business partnering functions across the business and will support the senior leadership teams and the Executive team. Working in conjunction with key stakeholders, the role combines their knowledge and expertise to provide the centralised planning and reporting activity, financial control and report processing activity for a newly established Centre of Excellence. They will be working with the Business Partners to develop and instigate financial reporting to support and inform the decision making process with the operational leadership teams.The role will also be responsible for leading the delivery of the migration activity that will be transferred from the operational finance teams to the newly established Centre of Excellence. They will be responsible for people, processes, models and systems being transitioned to the Centre of Excellence and the assurance to the Business Partners, senior leadership teams and Customer Executive team that there will be no detriment to service post the transition, and will manage key stakeholder interactions by working across a variety of layers of the organisation.The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CGMA) with relevant post-qualification experience at management level. They will have strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and audit processes, and have a demonstrable track record of delivering successful business change and process improvements. A proven ability to build effective relationships across the business is also important, as is strong reporting experience and the ability to effectively communicate Management Information at a variety of levels.
