Support Team Assistant

Salary: £16,191

Full time (job share, part time or school hours considered)

18 month Fixed Term Role

We are looking for a new member of staff to join our Technical and Support team in the Revenues and Benefits Service.  This position plays a key role in the administration and support of this busy service.

Your key responsibilities will be general admin tasks such as sorting, scanning and indexing the incoming post onto the Electronic Document Management system, assisting with bulk mailings, processing invoices and updating computer and manual records, assisting in Council Tax administration duties all within agreed team targets.

Preferably you should have a good general level of education, including GCSE English Language and Mathematics. Experience of general office duties in a similar role would be an advantage.  Good IT skills, an aptitude for figures, good communication skills and an ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently are all essential.  You must be able to work under your own initiative and complete tasks within timescales.
