My client is an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation with an innovative and dynamic approach and they are looking for a Qualification Development Officer for the Bristol area.This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis with you being based from an office in Bristol. They provide a range of vocational qualifications to FE colleges, training providers and employers, enabling them to achieve their objectives by offering qualifications that are fit for purpose. My client develops off-the-shelf, customised and fully bespoke qualifications across a growing number of sectors.

This exciting position, within a quality driven organisation, will allow you to draw on your experience of qualification frameworks to support qualification development.

Your specific responsibilities will include:
* Contributing to the review of qualification structures, content and assessment materials to ensure that they are fit for purpose and compliant with Ofqual's Conditions of Recognition.
* Acting as a single point of contact you will be supporting key centre contacts, Sector and Trade bodies and other stakeholders for qualification development enquires
* Taking responsibility for systems management, integration, support and administration with both internal and Government IT systems.

The ideal candidate will need to have a good eye for detail and a basic understanding of qualification frameworks such as NQF, QCF and RQF in order to proof assessment materials, stimulus materials, centre support materials and specifications in line with accreditation and development procedures. You will need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of unit design, principles of basic assessment design as well as an understanding of regulation, legislation and guidance surrounding vocational qualifications. You will be self-sufficient with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders. You will need to have relevant occupational qualifications to NVQ Level 3/4 in Business or Management or equivalent.
