Looking for an immediate start Warehouse job with FULL training provided?
We are seeking individuals to join our client's busy team based in Chard. You will be ensuring that the cheeses (the main product) are weighed, packaged, stored and dispatched.
As a production Operative you will move the products when they're ready for the different stages of maturing, packaging and preparing the product ready for transport.
There are various shifts available for this role. The hours available are:
??? 5 days, Monday - Friday (38 hours) (Permanent)
??? 5 days, Wednesday - Sunday (37 hours) (1x Perm and 1x Maternity Cover)
??? 4 days, Friday - Monday (28 hours min) (Permanent )
??? 2 days - Saturday - Sunday (12 hours min) (Permanent)
A degree of flexibility is required as the hours vary according to business need but your working hours will be kept as stable as possible. The hours vary between 6:00am and 4:30pm.
In return you will receive an hourly rate of ??7.47 rising to ??7.86 after the training/probation period; you will also receive 26 days holiday + bank holidays, enhanced hourly rates for over 40 hours worked and a pension scheme.
The ideal candidate will be able to work at a fast pace without compromising quality or safety. You must also understand the importance of food hygiene and the application of safe working practices. A background in dairy/food industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
