Our client is currently looking to recruit an Engineering Apprentice to join their team in Yeovil, Somerset.

This can be a school leaver keen to gain a formal qualification as well as valuable experience within an engineering business as well as someone who is happy to pursue an entry level role in order to gain a formal technical qualification.

Electrical skills you can expect to learn in your day to day activities:

* Working safely in an Engineering environment
* Carrying out Engineering activities efficiently and effectively
* Using and communicating technical information
* Assembling and Testing Electrical Equipment and circuits
* Maintaining electrical equipment / systems
* Carrying out fault diagnosis on Electrical equipment and circuits
* Modifying or rewiring electrical circuits
* Assisting in the installation of electrical/electronic equipment
* Electrical maintenance operations Electrical and Electronic principles
* Electrical and Electronic systems and devices
* Electrical installation methods, wiring and circuit protection

Mechanical skills you can expect to learn in your day to day activities:

* Assembling and testing mechanical products - CNC machinery and attributed other equipment
* Repairing and modifying mechanical assemblies
* Maintaining mechanical equipment
* Testing mechanical equipment and circuits
* Engineering environment awareness
* Engineering techniques
* Engineering principles

The ideal candidate:

* Driven and motivated to learn
* Presentable and communicative
* Minimum 5 GCSE's, A-C grade
