Project Engineer - Capital Projects
Market leading, employer of choice national food manufacturer.
* Permanent, Full time
* ??45-50k per year

We are looking for a time served, hands on Engineer responsible for the management of Capital expenditure projects for my Frome based client. This will include everything from a new AC unit to an entire new effluent management plant.
You:
* Recent experience managing the entire project life cycle from planning to implementation
* Delivered capital project successfully in the food/fmcg sector
* Financially competent & able to demonstrate a track record of on-budget financial delivery
* Demonstrable knowledge and familiarity with MS Projects or similar tools.
* Prince 2 or similar Project Management qualification (Advantageous)
* Comfortable in a crisis
* Experienced managing contractors and OEMs to ensure successful delivery
* Experienced maintenance Engineer with significant cap-ex project experience
* Confident, strategic thinker, problem solver
* Roll my sleeves up and get stuck in to help mentality
The role:
* Manage the delivery of simultaneous projects on site.
* Collaborate with in-house teams comprising of Operations, Technical, Engineering, Finance, HSE, Business Systems.
* Ensure design research technical and safety compliance of any equipment is supportive of future growth.
* Completion of feasibility studies, capital expenditure proposals and financial justifications of projects.
* Selection of the appropriate work streams and project team sponsors.
* Engagement of the site team in project delivery.
* Compile accurate reports relevant to the project status on a weekly/monthly basis.
* Generation and maintenance of Capital Project documents.
* Manage the project team inclusive of OEMs and all Contractors to ensure successful delivery in accordance with all standards
* Financial management to ensure all targets are achieved for projects
