Job purpose :To sell products and services and in doing so: contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies and plans, develop and secure new business opportunities, maintain sustainable business relationships with existing clients (account management), identify opportunities for cross selling of Group products and services, help to raise the Group profile and reputation. Annual Sales targets of 150k to 250k.

Accountabilities : Marketing strategy: supporting the development of annual sales and marketing strategies and plans, based on a knowledge of employment markets, company profiles and industry developments, in order to support the achievement of the company business plan.
New business: identifying and securing new business opportunities in order to achieve targets for new business growth. This includes market research, cold-calling potential clients, inputting to sales proposals and preparing client presentations and supporting their delivery.
Account management: developing partnership relationships with clients as a "trusted adviser", creating a good knowledge of businesses and sectors in order to: ensure the sustainability of existing sale/product licenses, identify new business opportunities, and identify demand for new product and services. Cross selling: identifying sales opportunities for Group products and services and make referrals accordingly in order support the achievement of broader Company targets for business growth and revenue.
Market awareness: promoting Group solutions and developing business opportunities to support the achievement of sales and revenue targets this will include attendance at conferences, trade fairs etc.
Administration: complying with contracting and account administration processes to ensure that contractual, legal and invoicing requirements are met and high levels of efficiency maintained.
Key relationships / customers : Client representatives in major organizations' across the UK, including those with procurement authorization, Regional chambers of commerce, industry groups, employer forums, professional groups, as the representative of the Group.

Knowledge, skills and experience :Degree level education, probably in Human Resources, business or psychology, PS accredited A&B training or ability to achieve this quickly, An understanding of all psychometric products and services and their use, deep understanding of best practice use of psychometric and other assessment tests, A strong knowledge of all employment sectors within the region as well as competition activity, Sales experience preferably in a related industry, Professional approach with strong interpersonally skilled and able to build trust and confidence with others, Excellent communication skills, including ability to give presentations to senior audiences, Demonstrable business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit, Knowledge of contract law and other regulatory provisions, e.g. data protection, discrimination law, Track record of success in sales, with a consultative selling style.
