Abatec are currently recruiting for an Installation Electrician to join a manufacturing company in Stroud,
The company specializes in the manufacture of control panels and electrical systems.
The successful candidate will be included in varied projects including, panel manufacture, site installation, test and commissioning. The position is based in Stroud but you will be required to work on various sites throughout the UK.
Your general duties will include:
- Visiting various sites throughout the UK on a planned maintenance basis
- Instillation, testing and commissioning
- Panel Building
- Supervision of other operatives
- Working towards within health and safety guidelines
Essential requirements
- Ability to fault find on industrial installations and machines
- Ability to read and work from schematic drawings
- A working knowledge of PLC systems would be an advantage
- Trained a certified in workplace health and safety
Qualifications
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical instillation
- 17th Edition of IEE regulations
- City and Guilds 2394 & 2395
Salary and Benefits
- ??30,000 per annum
- Overtime
- Additional bonus
