Mechanical Technician - Fast Jet - Contract
Multiple positions - Aircraft Mechanical Technician with experience of fast jet maintenance are required for a rolling contract for a highly esteemed organisation that have over 70 years of heritage in ground-breaking, research, test and evaluation that have given them the expertise to provide world-class support across every aspect of the air domain.
As an Aircraft Mechanical Technician you will be required to carry out maintenance and repair activities from 1st line (Flight Line) through to 3rd Line (Majors) on a range of aircraft and systems defined by your trade boundaries whilst providing training and support when required. You will be working directly on various fast jet platforms so previous experience is essential.
For the role of Aircraft Mechanical Technician you must have:
* Strong background within aviation maintenance
* Recent experience on fast jet
* Experience of carrying out in depth maintenance on fast jet
* Knowledgeable in dedicated trade - Mechanical Bias
* Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment
* Apprenticeship in an aircraft engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in respective field
* NVQ in engineering or equivalent
* Qualification courses (as required) on aircraft/equipment type or associated systems such as engines
* Computer literate, and familiarity/training/access with specific aircraft maintenance information systems, (e.g. LITS, GOLD ESP, etc.)
