My client are a FTSE 250 business providing facilities, property and asset management for some of the biggest public and private sector businesses. They have revenues in excess of ??1.8bn and a reputation for being the best in their business.

Job objectives & responsibilities

* To effectively manage financial administration processes for a contract with an annual revenue of c. ??70m, ensuring profitability and optimised cash flows through accurate billing, swift query resolution & provision of timely PO's to service lines.

Main duties

* Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of client applications, invoices and relevant supporting documentation required to optimise contractual cash flows.
* Maintaining 'Payment Application' trackers to ensure all applications are chased pro-actively, ensure un-approved payment applications are escalated and issues resolved in a timely manner.
* Ensuring optimal process is followed within the systems to generate & approve intercompany and client invoices and purchase orders in the most efficient and accurate manner.
* Maintaining up to date contract costing information & contract information in relevant databases.

Person specification

* Knowledge and experience of contract related financial processes.
* This role would suit someone currently studying towards their AAT.
* Logical & methodical approach to tasks.
* Team player, with ability to also work alone.
* IT literate - MS Excel and Oracle or SAP experience preferred
* Attention to detail
* Flexible and adaptable
* Proactive in contribuiting ideas for continuously improving financial processes
* Ability to deliver accurate information within tight time scales and manage several deliverables at any one time
